Why Choose Nest?

Why Choose Nest?

6 reasons to choose us as your homecare provider...

We care

We care for our Clients AND our Care Assistants. This is a very unique philosophy and it shows in the quality of people we employ and in the person-centred home care we provide. We have a simple but effective method to ensure our standards are being kept to the highest they can be which is the "Dad" test - if it's not good enough for him, then it's not good enough for you.

We are regulated and rated by the CQC

Nest Homecare is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in accordance with The Care Standards Act 2000. The CQC monitor, inspect and regulate UK health and care services to make sure they are meeting fundamental standards of quality, care and safety. They ensure that such services are Caring, Effective, Responsive and Well-led. We are rated "Good" in each of these key areas and you can view our CQC Report here

We offer continuity of care

We possess a moral purpose to provide exceptional home care and we offer continuity of care as standard giving you total peace of mind. Continuity of care is one of our highest priorities when putting together a person-centred care package which is based around your wishes, preferences, needs, likes and dislikes.

We take all the stress away

Unlike employing a Personal Assistant either directly or through an Introduction Agency, we manage everything for you (including Employment Contract, NI, Tax, Training, Holiday and Sick cover and pay). You and your family can relax, safe in the knowledge that everything is taken care of.

We employ only the most caring Care Assistants

We have a very rigorous recruitment process and are able to select the very best people to join our team. We support and motivate all our staff and ensure they are supported, happy and rewarded. Our Care Assistants are fully trained in the Care Certificate and also many additional courses. Some of our staff also hold Level 3 qualification (and above) in Health and Social Care, Dementia and End of Life Care.

We are a community-focussed, independent company

Nest is run by local people who are driven by professionalism, attention to detail and who wish to put the "care" back into the care industry. We are extremely passionate about supporting the local community and helping people live well with dementia - for example we are a part of the local Dementia Action Alliance (WAM DAA) which is a group of local businesses and public services pulling together to ensure that dementia friendly support is provided with the area.
