Why Choose Nest?
1. Because we care
We care for our Clients and our Care Workers.
This is a very unique philosophy and it shows in the quality of people we employ
and in the person-centred home care we provide. We employ the "Dad" test - if it's not good enough for them then it's not good enough for anyone.
2. Because we take the stress away
Unlike employing a Personal Assistant either directly or through an Introduction Agency, we manage everything for you (including Employment Contract, NI, Tax, Training, Holiday and Sick cover and pay). So you can relax, safe in the knowledge that everything is taken care of, and your Care Worker can focus on delivering exceptional care to you.
3. Because we are regulated and rated by CQC
Nest Homecare is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in accordance with The Care Standards Act 2000.
The CQC monitor, inspect and regulate UK care services to make sure they are meeting fundamental standards of quality, care and safety. They also ensure that services are caring, effective, responsive and well-led.
We are rated "Good" and you can view our CQC Report by following this link.
4. Because we employ the most caring Care Workers
We have a rigorous recruitment process so only select the very best people as our Care Workers. We support and motivate them and ensure they are happy.
All Care Workers are fully trained in the Care Certificate, and more - many of our staff hold RQFs to Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Dementia and End of Life Care.
5. Because we offer continuity of care
We possess a moral purpose to sustain the provision of exceptional home care so we offer continuity of care as standard giving you total peace of mind.
Continuity of care is one of our highest priorities when putting together a person-centred care package which is based around you wishes, needs, likes and dislikes.
6. Because we are a community-focussed, independent company
Nest was founded and is run by local people who are driven by professionalism, attention to detail and who want to put the "care" back into the care industry.
We are extremely passionate about supporting the local community and helping people live well with dementia - for example we run the local Dementia Action Alliance (WAM DAA) which is a group of local bsiness and services pulling together to ensure that dementia friendly services are provided with the area.
We guarantee that Nest Care Workers are
Well-trained - all our Care Workers have to pass the Care Certificate training, and many hold further qualifications including RQF Level 3 in Health and Social Care
DBS background checked
Reliable and committed
Kind and respectful
Compassionate and caring
Enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile
We will match one of our Nest Care Workers to your exact needs and requirements with a tailor-made, flexible homecare support package.
One of the advantages to our service is that we manage all the details of the care package, for example Employment contract, Payroll, National Insurance, Training, Insurance, Holiday and Sick pay and replacement cover - meaning you can relax in the knowlege that everything is taken care of.
We guarantee the quality of Nest service
We are committed to delivering the highest level of service to keep you safe and happy in the home that you love. That is why we are registered by the CQC who monitor, inspect and regulate care services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.
We have the very latest systems in place so that if a Care Worker is unwell or running late, we are alerted in plenty of time to be able to organise a solution and inform you within minutes.
We understand it is essential to have total peace of mind about the care being provided, and we believe it’s essential to have access to the details of the care visit especially if you are a family member who does not live near your loved one.
Nest will provide you with access to a secure, private website that your Care Worker updates after each visit enabling you to view all the details in your own time including:
A section for you to leave notes for your Care team
This is all part of the Nest service at no additional charge.
